Yup. I picked up the habit at parties here but I usually have one while walking home from work and 3-4 if I'm drinking at a club. It still takes me about a week to go through one pack, and at 2,500 won per pack, that's not bad at all. I am not addicted, though--have gone a week without smoking and didn't miss it--and will probably quit when I go back home. It's just easy to do here because you can smoke pretty much anywhere and it's so cheap.

i believe i went from marlboro reds - marlboro menthols - switching between marlboro 27s and parliament lights. ive never been a real heavy smoker but mainly a social smoker and whenever im stressin too much. but whenever i pass by or see someone smoking makes me wanna have one too lol.

Funny thing is, I remember doing a survey when I was in elementary with all of these images and it would ask us questions like, "How effective is this image? Would it deter you from smoking?" etc. Next thing I knew, they were on the boxes

Absolutely love smoking Orange Peel in Hong Kong because it's humid there. Smoking them back here in Canada they suck.

Anyone try the new Marlboro Blacks? They are seriously good if you're into menthols.

Accord is actually pretty smooth, and they're pretty cheap!

I rarely get to smoke anymore, so expensive! I started smoking Marlboro Smooths again because they're my favorite tasting cigarettes. I think my most expensive pack thus far was at the casino, it was about $5.75, and that was with the $1 off bargain :[

When I use to smoke, I smoked Indonesian clove cigarettes. Djarum or something, best smelling stuff ever and they had sugar butts. If not then I would roll my cigarettes, usually bought Port Royal if memory serves. I don't smoke now though because someone I knew died of lung cancer.

hmm i'm not a smoker so i never knew about these brands...... i mean, i found it kind of embarrassing to stand in a market staring at the locked up cigarette packs, wondering what they're like. i've seen several friends smoking, but i wasn't close enough with them to ask them about it, and i was sort of curious on how it feels to smoke.
when you smoke, and you say certain cigarettes taste good, what do you mean by that? is it like how the smoke feels or something?
how did it feel to buy your first pack? to smoke your first cigarette?

I don't smoke cigarettes because I think they are unhealthy and addictive. I smoke cigars occasionally though - Cuban brands like Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, H Uppmans, etc. Cigars are nice to put you in a relaxing mood... I once had an allergy problem, couldn't stop sneezing, headaches, etc. Smoked a cuban cigar - instantly they all went away. I haven't been addicted either, since I only smoke a few times a month.

Also another thing about Cigars: unlike cigarettes, they're pure tobacco

Different tobacco have different tastes, that's why there's soooo many different kinds of cigarettes. Personally, I only smoke menthol because I'm in love with the taste of peppermint. It feels good (especially when drunk) and it just tastes good. For me it's like smoking a candy cane XD
I don't even really remember buying my first pack, because I was buying cigarettes for a friend (he was 17) long before I started smoking, and honestly, I probably didn't even inhale my first cigarette correctly. Smoking takes practice! hahaha
