Ikkaku's bankai is awesome and by far the awesome looking one . Although very different from others.

118 was just pure sickness.
Ikkaku is the epitome of absolute coolness.

Also, Grimmjaw is also a badass. Ichigo and Rukia getting raped easily.

As if I wasn't already thrilled enough when I found out the first time that Ikkaku had a bankai...but to see what is his bankai is nothing short of amazing...

Grimmjaw and Ulquiorra are currently my fav espada, because they just show badassness in their own ways.

ikkaku is just plain cool.

I just saw ep118 and I loved every minute of Ikkaku's fight. Next episode will be the conclusion of who won and the story how Ikkaku got his bankai. Can't wait till they get further down to the Vaizards.

both actually. I remember reading that he didn't want to reveal his bankai because of personal reasons. It's been a long time since that chapter though so it's a bit faint.

ep118 was supercooool! I was shocked when Ikkaku released his bankai.. i was like wth?!
haha that means he's actually on captain level?
cant wait to see Grimmjow fight Ichigo, though i think Ichigo is gonna get raped =)
puahaha but when Grimmjow stuck his hand in Rukia's stomach, i didnt even see blood ' shouldn't there be blood coming out of her stomach? lol~

Just saw it! Ikkaku's bufffff yo. He's rippling with muscles underneath. He shares the same craziness with Kenpachi in battle. I never knew he had a bankai, I think it looks... so so. Its wierd how it just augments his powers not really do anything for him. I guess if the 11th squad is just hand to hand combat, its not a bad bankai. That volcano dude is in for it.

I had a question when the kumichika guy asks soul society to "freeze" the areas, what does this mean?
Also, I didnt get the history of Ikkaku's bankai was it revealed? or is that just for manga readers?

Im kinda mad that there was not a lot of Grimjow vs the Vizard's yet. *sigh and why didnt Rukia step out of the way? Is Rukia dead now?............ Bayakuya is going to be PISSSSED.

What happened to Ikkaku's bankai axe/sword/weapon? It cracked after one of the attacks, what does this mean? He wont be able to finish the fight? That his bankai is actually breakable? What happens if one completely breaks? Does he never get it back?

I read the manga as well, but it's been so long that I've completely forgotten about Ikkaku and his bankai lol

It makes me wonder if Yumichika has it as well I remember when they showed him fighting in an episode a long long time ago and he also told his enemy not to tell and he defeated him easily.

You won't see a Arrancar vs Vizard match for awhile. It's not even in the manga yet. Like somebody else said, u will see a surprise guest step in during ichigo and grimjaw's fight and break it up.
