For those of you with the Canon Powershot SD1100, what do you think of it? How's the night shot and shutter speed? I used to have a sd450 and those were my problems. I'm currently looking for a new camera, so any input would be great.
Edit: I need help deciding between the Canon Powershot SD790 IS and the Canon Powershot SD770 IS. I'm looking for a camera with nice optical zoom, decent night shot, and decent shutter speed. I've read many reviews online about all 2 cameras but I really have no idea which one to choose. I'm an amateur photographer - I mostly take pictures of people, club/family/social events, scenery, etc.
THANKS!

What?
You won't be able to control the Shutter speet on the SD1100.
If you want manual controls, buy an A series Canon.
And if you ARE Indeed an amateur photographer, you should, at some point, consider getting a camera with manual controls.
There's just no way you can be able to capture candids in piss poor lighting indoors without some sort of control over the shutter speed.
If anything, spend 100 more bucks and get yourself an entry level DSLR.
