So my mom just destroyed her fone today and I wanna get her the iPhone (unlocked) with T-Mobile.
The guy at the fone shop said he unlocked his and it works perfectly fine with all the functions.
Im just wondering have any of u guys got the iPhone with T-mobile service? =D
Does it work perfectly fine? Or is there any problem?

well fromwhat i read it works fine but since theres been so many unlocked iphones
if you update the firmware on it, it'll lock the phone back up o_o (or atleast trying to create something like that)

Visual Voice mail will not work. As for the unlocking, there have been releases of successful unlocks with the new firmware. Hackers will keep going at it until the hype dies down, which it never will. So, hacks will always be available for each firmware unless Apple does something.

it is said that the Apple company has made it so that if the phone is unlocked when you have to update it, it will automatically lock its self.
so in general if you dont get it with the serivce the phone WILL NOT work.
