I finally read ALL the pages up until now on this thread. This is the first movie that I REALLY ANTICIPATE. I've never been so obssessed with any book/movie adaptation.

hey guys.. i was reading the post in twilight mom's and they are quite good in stalking the twilight set. here is a description on what she thought when she saw robert pattinson (EDWARD CULLEN) on set. i was spazzing on it and i was so jealous of her. doubters should read this from someone who REALLY saw Rob.

Robert walks out of the traler. He is devastatingly gorgeous, and I have never been all that attracted to him before. But after today, wowza. OK, I am sorry if this next part sounds totally cheezy, but its true: he had flawless, porcelain skin. Very pale, but luminous still. His hair is NOT “shoulder length.” It is a nice style much like you see in the manips. And BRIGHT copper. He is amazing looking. He was wearing a dark green tweed looking suit jacket, and that’s all I got before he jumped into the front seat of the van, and the entire movie cast pulls away with a film truck after them.

I think when you see this, you'll know how much he has grown since Sharkboy. I don't know how he's going to look taller or older or stronger if he's going to stick around for New Moon (that is... if New Moon is going to be filmed).

I'm sure Robert really is that gorgeous (especially after seeing him in person like that), and I'm very excited to see him play Edward in the movie~! ^^* Gosh, I can't wait.

babieblue545 - This makes me like Taylor even more. He has definitely matured (although I hate it how you could only see his side profile in the video most of the time). I'm actually very satisfied w/ the fact that he's playing Jacob. He's really cute, lol.


I can see why some people argue that he looks too young (even though, technically, he should be that young in Twilight) but I thought about it...and take Harry Potter for instance. Their development from Chamber of Secrets to Prisoner of Azkaban was amazing. From that one movie to the next, they matured drastically - so if they do decide to go w/ New Moon, I think it would be perfect if they used Taylor again as Jacob because hopefully, he would have been matured even more by the time they hit the second movie (again, if they decide to go w/ it).

I'm so satisfied w/ all of the actors that it makes me anticipate the movie even more, xD

^Robert actually was pretty good looking in Vanity Fair. He was very vampireish, too I didn't like the make-up and hair-do as much in Harry Potter, though. So because he's so fantastically similiar to an "angel", his appearance should be done justice( as it would appear if we all met him in person) with good make-up and wardrobe. If it all comes to a disappointment (which I sort of doubt will happen), remember that the camera adds 10 pounds xP.

I was picturing him as jacob the whole time, and the one scene where he had his hair tied back really reminded me of jacob. Haha, just thought I would share that =]

i was watching the disney channel as well (just because of sky high was on)
and i saw him with his hair tied back, i believe it was the scene when he was working in the the restaurant)
i was all giggly because i was imagining him to be jacob....

but alas....
he's not jacob... oh well i hope that the actor who did get the part (the name slipped my mind)
does a wonderful job on it i mean there are a lot of jacob fans as much as edward fans

aznxgirlieeex3 & juhee - What a coincidence; I was too, hahaha. But then I was like, "Steven Strait (first of all, he's SO freaking attractive, lol) wouldn't fit for Jacob's role in Twilight" - because Jacob is described as looking like a 14-year-old in Bella's point of view when they first meet in Twilight, and Steven does NOT look 14/15-ish at all, lol. I think he's the same age as Robert (1986 born, I believe). So yes - despite the fact that he's amazingly gorgeous (I was spazzing all over him during Sky High last night), he can't play Jacob...at least, not for Twilight (maybe New Moon - but I hate it when movies change actors for the same role; it becomes awkward for me). And also, I have a feeling that once we actually see Taylor on-screen as Jacob for Twilight, his fanbase will grow and people will be all against changing the actor for Jacob if they do film New Moon because we'll be used to him as Jacob. He should look fairly young for Twilight, and then they can buff him up and everything for New Moon. I'm going to support Taylor all the way (unless he does a terrible job playing his role, which I doubt, lol) - I've gotten used to the fact that he's our Jacob already.

Oh, and happy birthday to Kellan~! ^^* I think he's so cute, haha.

Yup Steven is the same age as Robert born in 1986 (yea, I always look up the actor's ages of ones that I like). But he would definitely be too old to play Jacob despite everyone wanting him to play him and I ALSO hate it when they switch up the actors between films.
