How the Grinch Stole Christmas (or whatever it's called...)
Scrooge
Or anything with a moral to the story.
I'd suggest Nightmare Before Christmas but I think it'd be a bit scary for the young ones....

Christmas time in England, and unusual things going on round. Some people are falling in love, then breaking up or some people just desperately lonely and still looking for that someone special. This is a story about 8 people who follow their hearts and show love or anger. If you look carefully around 'Love Actually' is all around you...
The Holiday

Movie trailer editor, Amanda of Los Angeles, CA and journalist Iris of Surrey, England live five thousand miles apart and have never met, but are dealing with the same problem: men. Amanda having just broken up with her cheating boyfriend, Ethan and Iris having pined for her ex, Jasper, becoming engaged to the woman he left her for decide to take a vacation during Christmas. They come upon a website called home exchange and swap houses for two weeks both with a goal to forget their troubled love lives. But love ends up finding them anyways. Amanda starts a romance with Iris' older brother, Graham, a book editor and Iris starts a romance with a movie composer named Miles. With new found romance, both their lives change forever.
Serendipity

Jonathan Trager and Sara Thomas met while shopping for gloves in New York. Though buying for their respective lovers, the magic was right and a night of Christmas shopping turned into romance. Jon wanted to explore things further but Sara wasn't sure their love was meant to be. They decided to test fate by splitting up and seeing if destiny brought them back together... Many years later, having lost each other that night, both are engaged to be married. Still, neither can shake the need to give fate one last chance to reunite them. Jon enlists the help of his best man to track down the girl he can't forget starting at the store where they met. Sara asks her new age musician fiance for a break before the wedding and, with her best friend in tow, flies from California to New York hoping destiny will bring her soulmate back. Near-misses and classic Shakespearean confusion bring the two close to meeting a number of times but fate will have the final word on whether it was meant to be.
A Boyfriend For Christmas

Holly stopped believing in Santa Claus after her wish to meet the man of her dreams never came true. So Santa sets her up with Ryan, who isn't entirely truthful about himself. Now Holly faces a dilemma: marry her current boyfriend, Ted, or fall in love with someone who has lied to her.
Holiday Affair

This Christmas story centers on a widowed mother who is about to marry an old friend. The mother, eager to give her boy a very merry Christmas, allows a charming sales clerk to buy her son a toy train set, much to her fiance's chagrin. The triangle is in place. Steve, the clerk, understands that to win her heart, his must first win over her son. Remade for television in 1996.
Three Days

Andrew and his high school sweetheart Beth were married for about ten years but their relationship is not as great as it once was, now that Andrew is a high-powered literary agent. Beth is tragically killed on Christmas Eve while rescuing the neighbors' dog. Lionel, an angel, gives Andrew a chance to relive the last three days his wife was alive. But there's a catch, he cannot change the fate of his wife. There's only one gift he can give to save her life and he only has a very short time to figure out what that gift is.
