A thirtysomething Manhattan dad is in the midst of a divorce when his 10-year-old daughter, Maya, starts to question him about his life before marriage. Maya wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love: Will's story begins in 1992, as a young, starry-eyed aspiring politician who moves to New York from Wisconsin in order to work on the presidential campaign. For Maya, Will relives his past as an idealistic young man learning the 'ins' and 'outs' of big city politics, and recounts the history of his romantic relationships with three very different women. Will hopelessly attempts a gentler version of his story for his daughter, and changes the names so Maya has to guess who is the woman her father finally married. Is her mother Will's college sweetheart, the dependable girl next door Emily? Is she his longtime best friend and confidante, the apolitical April? Or is she the free-spirited but ambitious journalist Summer? As Maya puts together the pieces of her dad's romantic puzzle, she begins to understand that love is not so simple or easy. And as Will tells her his tale, Maya helps him to understand that it⿿s definitely never too late to go back--and maybe even possible to find a happy ending.

Rachel Weisz!!!! <33 I think the last thing I saw her in was the secret(??) gardener movie...or something like that anyway.

This looks really good! The name reminded me of Love Actually....haha~ I want to seeee it nowwwwww.

This movie is definitely a must watch for 2008! I watched a pre screening of it last month and wow... it definitely exceeded my expectations.

You'll laugh and cry at the same time. Plus the whole figuring out WHO the mom is different from your typical romantic comedy. happy.gif Very cute movie!

Isla Fisher was adorable in this movie. Loved her in it!

omg this is the first time hearing of this movie. so i jsut saw the trailer, i want to see it! it looks so funny and cute!! and it's the girl from little miss sunshine!! I LOVED HER IN LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE!

Can someone tell me who the mother is? And who he ends up with?

I'd rather know before watching it, otherwise I know I'll be disappointed in the end no matter who it is, lol~

ANYWAY. I JUST got back from watching the movie, and it is SO DAMN GOOD. like, the fact that I immediately came here to rave about it shows that I'm a loser, and also that the movie was AMAZING. I haven't been so "oh my god" about a movie since..... Crash. I had been anticipating this movie since the trailer came out MONTHS ago. and let me say, the movie lived up to my larger-than-life expectations. GO WATCH IT!!!

This movie was great. Abigail Breslin is such a gem! Loved her in Little Miss Sunshine and loved her in this movie. Haha, the sex education part in the beginning cracked me up!

But yeah. This movie was pleasing. I didn't hate the ending at alll. =)
