it works for me. what did you use to jailbreak and what version are you at? (1.14? 2.0? 2.02?). make sure you login using your itunes account too.

How do you know what version the Ipod Touch is? Im thinking of buying one but if I get the new one and there is no jailbreak for it like you said, then I'd want to look for an older version right?

Well the new Itouch version just came out. So I'm just wondering how long it would take for those hackers to get on it.

ipod touch doesn't have a hard drive, it's flash memory.

The appstore only appears on firmwares 2.0 or greater.

Because back in the day I remember researching about Jailbreaking, and I do remember that it required several programs to Jailbreak, etc.

yeah you're right--source. they changed stuff making it unjailbreakable for now.

Because back in the day I remember researching about Jailbreaking, and I do remember that it required several programs to Jailbreak, etc.
I tried it... and it was just a few clicks, follow directions on the screen like hold home+power.. then hold home.. etc
But it was buggy and refused to let me backup so I had to go and manually make some folders and update a file to make it so it would backup properly in itunes. Might be worthwhile to wait for an official ipod dev release

So anyone who wants to Jailbreak (non buggy) has to do it the old fashioned way?
I thought from what I saw ex. PwnagePro 2.0, it looked like it was a few click program.

Yeah... should be soon but so far theres only that one I linked to which was simple but had its own share of bugs. The official winpwn/quickpwn should do it with a few clicks and button presses on the ipod. (button presses on ipod puts it into DFU mode they can send modified code into)
