I jailbroke my iTouch yestreday and i was searching through Cydia for themes. Their themes aren't that good x.x i didn't find one that I liked. Anyone know where else we can get themes?? I saw someone have a really nice theme, but I couldn't find that exact one.

i got my 2g ipod touch last week. i jailbreak-ed it immediately afterwards. it's cool. i d/led the snes emu too. but it's kind of hard to play games because you can't feel the controls.

Your going to have to download hackulo from cydia to get apps to work.

YES! I've finally and fully jailbroken my iTouch 2G, yes it is possible now.

It was extremely easy and safe; no need for those non-sense Youtube videos, and all that mess. You just download a program and follow the easy steps. Yippie! So happy.

I was gonna put it in, but then I realized that it can not be jailbroken yet so things like mxtube and gpsphone wont work so I am gonna hold out until they do.

The official jailbreak is out http://blog.iphone-dev.org/ works fine for me. Its ugly and you need to type it in CMD but it works easy enough still. I am beginning to wonder why I bother jailbreaking when all I use is safari! I guess its a power trip for me.

It works on touch, touch 2, and iphones!

I am totally loving the 3.0 update so far. Love the whole spotlight thing, the only problem is that I can't merge my video and music app together if I want to use spotlight to search for a song and play it directly from there.

Things with the new firmware should would itself out in a week or two.

So a few days ago, I did some research on jailbreaking, and I decided to do it.
I have a itouch 2 G, and I used a program called quick freedom to jailbreak it. it's so amazingly simple, it gives you step-by-step instructions, and I was done jailbreaking in 5 min!

for those who dont know what jailbreaking is, it's AWESOME!

2. All the great application you see in the app store that you need to purchase, you can now install them all FOR FREE. So instead of using lite/trial apps, you get full versions and much better apps!

3. Theres NO risk, if something goes wrong in the process (ipod bricked), you just plug your ipod to itunes, and click "RESTORE". Than it'll go to factory restore, and it'll return to the state it was in when you bought it.



So, I just want to say, you dont know what your missing till youve jailbroken your iTouch

I believe you install winterboard through cydia then the themes are just on cydia as well.

This was over a week ago, but did you fix it? In the worse case you just have to use DFU mode to restore it and it will be back to normal.
