Baby Hair how to get rid of it?

my problem about this is that everytime I put up my hair (ponytail, bun etc.), the baby hair can be easily seen and a lot of it.
I've seen other girls put up their hair and it appears that they dont have any baby hair at all!
I was thinking hairspray would help, but I like to run my hands through my hair, so I dont like that sticky feeling
are there any solutions to reduce the appearance of baby, smoothing it down or anything?

I apply it to my whole head after I tie it into a ponytail. Here's a picture. I usually buy mine at JcPenny but any salon should have it

but don't put too much on

I use pomade or wax to get the polished look (and smooth down short baby hairs).

I read in magazines that what you can do is put some hairspray on a mascara brush and come your baby hair back. I've only tried it a little but because the mascara brush takes away so much of the spray, you can't feel the hardness too much.
I know there are products out there made for it though. You can try Bedhead too.

use shampoo and conditioner thats really good.
i use pantene provene and Tresemme. (at seperate times, not mixed together)
and they make my hair strong and healthy. and they smell so great also!
and there are extra products that just make your hair healthy and strong.
and the more strong your hair is, the more it will stay on your head.
and also when you shower, try not to handle your hair too rough.
my hair always fell out, and i thought i was going to be bald, seriously. haha
but i changed shampoos.
good luck<3
