ahhhh im exactly like you!
my earlobes get all red and itchy if i wear "fake" metal
so i hafta wear "real" ones. haha
anywhoo, to answer ur question,
my earlobes are okay wit wearing plastic earrings.
you can try em, but if it gets all itchy and rashes for instance appear,
stop wearing em.

oo yeah, i had a pair of those sensitive solution earrings, and they were good, didnt give me any itchy-ness XD

yeah and i have to agree with the hassle part about taking out the 'fake' earrings, cause at times i forget to put it back on, and i get scared that the ear hole will close.

When my mom was a teen in the Philippines, she got these fancy (but fake) earrings and soon after, she realized that her skin was really sensitive to it. So a rash began to form, and my grandpa had to cut off all her hair and leave her bald since that was the only way her skin could heal. :[

My sisters and I are the same way. I lost the pair to one of my "real" earrings a while ago... so I decided to just buy some plain fake earrings so that the holes in my ears wouldn't close. One of my ears really hurt because of it... So I took the earrings out and I'm currently earring-free as of now. =o=

**With fake earrings, you should always take them out before showering. I didn't, and it's what cause my ears to hurt. >__<;

I'm saving up to buy a pair of real earrings soon, since I don't want to have to remove my earrings before I shower or get in water. :]
Lost in love...

I'm like you too! When I wear fake earrings, my ears gte really itchy. But I still wear fake earrings sometimes if they're SUPER cute. Haha, but .. I have never tried plastic earrings before. I think so? Just as long as there isn't any metal on it whatsoever.

ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH.

I used to want to wear plastic earrings. My ears aren't that sensitive, but my mom said no one should still wear it.
Plastic earrings are easier to get infections. I can say sterling silver is the way to go. :D

I have the same problem as you!! my ears are sensitive so my
parents only let me wear 'real' earrings. my mom told me that
plastic is the same as wearing metal ones or w/e, they still have
fake metal/the same metal material. i tried wearing these plastic
hoops once, but i still got infected >o<;. my say is that you could
try plastic ones BUT with NO metal or buy ones for sensitive ears =]

i can do fake earrings...but yea, no water/shower w/ them tho...they'll rust, etc and infect ear

"real" metals are always better of course. plastics are fine tho too. they shouldn't affect u if u have sensitive ears. they use plastics to pierce kids ears a lot...which is why i used plastic when i got pierced for first time keke (i thot id be sensitve to everything...)

w/ everything, try them out, if it does for w/e reason bother u..take'm out

same, and it was mainly when my ears were healing...i could only use the sensitive solutions from claires or precious metals...and earrings that had "hypoallergenic" on the packaging. But now that my ears are all healed up, they can tolerate fake metals for a while.
