Dear Cloud ‘Lip’ Music Video Topic

The music video of five member group, Dear Cloud has become a hot topic within music sites.

Dear Cloud has released their new album on October 27th titled, ‘Grey.’ Their title track, ‘Lip’ focuses on lip syncing which is seen as a serious illness in the world of popular song. The topic is causing many netizens and indie rock band fans to take interest.

Their music video was composed based on French Artist Marcel Duchamp’s sculpture, ‘Why Not Sneeze, Rrose S�lavy?’ The music video criticizes the world of popular song, where due to the will of music manufacturers, lip syncing singers are produced in large numbers. The music video asks, “Art is whose will I wonder, whose will is it produced by.”

All of the members of Dear Cloud composed and wrote the lyrics for their album, ‘Grey’ which contains 11 tracks. Which a charming sound and sentimental melody, the vocalist Nine’s tender yet neutral voice harmonizes along with dreamlike and mellow sound.
