WINAMP; because its nice & simple; and doesn't take up too much of my CPU; like many others have said. and id3 tags fixing.

itunes is nice and simply formated--but it always kills my computer.

I use TTPlayer, it's a Chinese program though.
But it has cute skins and can play all sort of files with lyric!

I'm a Mac user, and I use iTunes; it's pretty simple. I don't really see any difference between most of the other players; add songs, create playlists and junk, what do other players offer that others don't already have?

I used to use winamp, but now it's all about iTunes & just plain old Windows Media Player. The updated version of it. Not the ugly looking one.

Amarok ftw! Amarok is really the best music program I have used on any operating system. And I've used about every music player out there.

Maybe others realize that as a consumer, one shouldn't be forced to use programs that come prepackaged with a 'certain' operating system just for the sake of convenience. There is a perfectly valid reason as to why people prefer firefox to IE, VLC or Kmplayer to WMP, and foobar to WMP, and Comodo to Windows Firewall.
"But when it ends and while it ends, something comes, after so much rage, persistence, obstinacy, extravagance; something entirely unexpected and touching in its mildness and goodness. With the motif passed through many vicissitudes, which takes leave and so doing becomes itself entirely leave-taking, a parting wave and call, with this D G G occurs a slight change, it experiences a small melodic expansion. After an introductory C, it puts a C sharp before the D. . .and this added C Sharp is the most moving, consolatory, pathetically reconciling thing in the world. It is like having one's hair or cheek stroked, lovingly, understandingly, like a deep and silent farewell look. . . . " (Mann: 55).

I use WMP but if I haven't opened WMP yet and I've plugged my iPod in then I use iTunes.

I don't hear any difference between music players. The only difference I know is the layout.

I switched to iTunes when I got my ipod, but now that it's dead I'm too lazy to switch to whatever other player there is out there. D:
