From when I started surfing on the internet and downloading music (4th grade), Windows Media Player. Up until about 7th grade? I'm glad I got it out of the way fast, because the organization of my music was TERRIBLE.
I never used its library and would assort My Music by Artist Name folders. During that time period I would also use WinAmp. I'd download the really tacky skins, too. XP

But for the organization and its one and only true compatibility with my iPod---> iTunes!
I can make playlists, reference to the artist/album/etc by clicking the arrows next to my own songs, and since I have thousands of media it's great! Oh, yeah, and the podcasts are amazing too. The only problem I have with iTunes is its accepted formats and that when it converts songs it converts them to m4a. Which isn't bad but only bad when I'm making mp3 CDs.

I use iTunes, which is feature rich, simple to use and gives excellent control over music. I use Windows and I don't even have an MP3 player, yet I still think iTunes is awesome.

Will be even better when I get a iPhone 3G.

I've been using winamp for years... It's reliable.
I did try Itunes but it got me really angry when the songs I've been playing started shuttering. It's just annoying.

I love iTunes because I'm a neat-freak and I love organizing, sorting and putting covers on each song I add.

I still used winamp classic because I hate all those unneccessary features. I just want a standalone music player that just plays music without all the extra controls options. Like my music player simple

VLC player or Winamp.
iTunes is a really annoying program like one said before, it doesn't support all/most extension and converting to .m4a is such
a waste of time.
Winamp was great back in the days, now they have all kinds of ads in it but you can block it.

I use iTunes, at first I didn't like it. But now it's okay. Neat and organized. xD

Everyone seems to dislike Windows Media Player, but I love it.
I don't give a care about the organization of my library. I keep all my music files in folders, so there's no need for me to keep my library organized. I just need something to play my music & videos without a hassle.

My most favorite would be winamp... but too bad it went all screwy on my laptop. =(
So I switched to VLC player even tho playlists load so slow I find the sound quality better than foobar. ^^

I've downloaded foobar but I want to customize it really nicely, but since I just got it, it confuses and frustrates me D;.
I'll probably go back to my itunes x'D.

I use windows media player and I don't see any disorganization at all in my songs and files when I use it. Maybe that's because I'm a huge neat freak.

oh btw, windows media player docks itself on your taskbar without making a window o_O if that makes sense. It's really convenient since I usually have tons of windows up for school and stuff sometimes.

Do other music players do that too?
