First post ever! :]

Okay, well, uh, My Zune tends to be really weird on me. Like , I'll be playing a video and all of a sudden, it'll stop. I can't turn it off, and after a while, the battery just kinda dies.

Other times, I'll put it on shuffle, and it'll be playing a song, and it'll just turn off. So I have to restart it. The loading dots always appear on my screen, and it's annoying.

I called Zune and they sent me a box so I could send my thing back for repair, but I'd just like to know WHY it does this.

Microsoft Products always have problems, like Xbox 360 [CoD], haha, and look at Windows Platforms,
etc... oh well, you should have bought a Ipod, or maybe even an Itouch since you couldve surfed the net
as well ^^.

Yeah, my friend got an iTouch. It's pretty amazing.

It seems most likely a hardware problem if you have already updated the firmware.

that's really weird, it has nvr happened to my zune, but i'm not surprised because i kind of hate the zune software. it's gotten a little better w/version 2.2, but it lags my comp. like crazy. hopefully they get your zune fixed, or give you a new one.

I sent out the repair box yesterday, so hopefully they should get it soon. :] I'm hoping to get a new one, cuz the new ones are kick-asss, but if they fix this, i'll be happy too.

I'm sorry that I'm saying this but that was one of the most ignorant replies I have ever read.

They couldn't fix it, so I got a new old one. The big bulky ones. But I'm still happy. They said they couldn't fix it, so I got a new one biggrin.gif

i had almost the same problem with my Zune 80GB...it would play like 3-10 minutes of music, shut off and reboot (didn't happen in videos)...I did a bunch of research and found out that MANY Zune owners were having the same exact problem...so far there is no explanation but people think it has something to do with static (which has been proven wrong)...I went and exchanged my Zune for a different one and now it works perfectly...If you bought yours recently I believe there was a huge shipment of defectives..but I don't know...

Glad you got a new one though, hope it's working now smile.gif

Yeah you probably just got a defective one... there is a 1 year warranty and a 30 day return policy(I think?)
