Well, my boyfriend/fiance just signed on for AT&T and got a great employee discount and etc since he's assistant manager at Radioshack and wants to get me off Verizon for at&t. I'm fine with my phone and service, but eh, he kept insisting. He told me to pick a phone I wanted and I'm indecisive as to which is a good choice. Since he deals with phones, he said sony ericsson, pantech, and etc etc weren't good choices, so I came down to 3 picks that he "approved," since he wants to pay for everything.

*hmm, I didn't see the cellphone thread -- please move it there if so, sorry!*

LG Shine

Blackberry Pearl - Red

AT&T Tilt

Any suggestions?

The best 3 "phone" manufacturers are Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson in no particular order.

However, if you only had to choose from those 3 I'd get the Tilt. More bang for the buck. Smart phone battery life sucks compared to regular phones though.

I'm not very keen on the LG SHINE...
I've searched up about and talked to some friends...
[because I was interested awhile back..ok two weeks ago c[: ]
But it's not a GREAT as you'd think it was...
its a good but not great phone from what i've heard..

I like the Blackberry Pearl because it's so pretty.
::siiigh:: haha soorry, girlmode somehow kicked in! lol.
Plus, I like the style of it and its a blackberry..

However, the tilt..
My brother recently got this phone a couple weeks ago...
and its like the coolest phone!
hahah!
I was playing with it and I was like o.O!
He absolutely LOVES it. haha

Alll in all, Get the Tilt! TOTALLY worth it!

Your fiance say Sony Ericsson phones are bad? blink.gif Guess he had a bad experience with them or something.

Anyways, out of the 3. The Tilt is the best. It's THE best smart phone out of every single one that's available from all the carriers in the states, as of now anyways. It has possibly everything you would need in a smart phone. The LG Shine is not good at all from what I've read. Some people had issues and the keypad is really flat. Not good if you want to text blindly. The Pearl is a good phone for what it is, but RIM made a version 2 of the phone which should be available for At&t. I don't know when, I know they will eventually have it because Verizon and Sprint does right now.

All in all, the Tilt beats the rest. You can see/read all the features it has a cnet.
