stir fry beef or chicken, add it at the end (over HIGH heat) and splash on some Shaoxing cooking wine, toss for about 10-15 secs, DONE.

My mom uses oyster sauce when she fries pasta and things like veggies/beef/whatever with it. It's awesome and one of the things I picked up from my mommy. <3

Some of the things I use oyster sauce for:

Fried chicken.

Cut up chicken pieces, add oyster sauce, pinch o salt, pepper, crushed garlic and mix. Marinate for a while or leave o/night.

Shallow fry the chicken until cooked & skin is crispy.

OR

BBQ Lamb

Get some lambchops and add oyster sauce, crushed garlic, crushed/chopped lemongrass, salt or garlic salt and pepper. Mix. Leave over night.

Throw on bbq next day.

OR

Just stir fry some vegetables and add oyster sauce and other condiments according to taste. Or chinese broccoli with oyster sauce + garlic.

I love oyster sauce. I always use the premium brand with the colourful label and red lid.

I LOVE oyster sauce -- goes good with basically everything O_O

shrimp, chicken, pork, veggies, etc etc.

I've tried various brands, but the only one that I've come to love and use is this one biggrin.gif

No, hoisin sauce is different from oyster sauce xD I don't use that as much since I'm not fond of it.

Oyster Sauce is good when you add it with meat (when you cook) and just add some flat noodles. =drool=
