today, i bought counter strike source. and when i tryed launching it, it said that i i have the minimum requirements..since i have a 5 year old dell, but with a 300gb hard-drive. but..anyways it said video card or directx..so since i can download it i downloaded directx 9.0
and still it lagged like crazy...so..i bought the thing for 20 bucks...i dont want it to go to waste. so..wat can i do
if i were to get it..
can i get it installed in one day and how much is it? for the video card

People can't really recommend a video card if they don't know your computer specs.
If you don't know your specs, try this: www.srtest.com/referrer/srtest. If you can't find counterstrike on the website, try Half Life 2 because it has the same engine and requirements.
Video cards are easy to install and can just take minutes- just read the intstructions in the box. If I can do it, anyone can.

hahah but thats cause i play 1.6 so much =P
css you need a really good graphics card that will cost you around 100.
even with that you'll get around 30-50 fps.
maybe you have to update your video card graphics driver too.
