hello soompiers~~~~ ^0^

i was just wondering how to get from skinny/slim to normal.

you see i don't know what's wrong with me but i don't get more weight...
at first i was like cool let's go eat mcdonalds
but ever since my brothers have been forcing me to eat more i feel like its a curse... T^T [seriously you don't know how much i eat!]
and its not just that because i eat even more than a normal 13 year old girl.
i've been 32kg or so for the past 3 and a halfish years...

its kind of weird to me because whenever i go for a medical check up the doctors are always telling me to gain weight.
a nurse even gave me 3 choco bars when i left... sleep.gif

it was alright before when i just wore baggy clothing [like mini boyishy girl clothing... blame that on my brothers]
e.g. hoodies, jeans etc

but now i start wearing skirts, shorts, skinny jeans
i feel more uncomfortable with my figure.
its really depressing when my brothers have to spend even more money on me to get my clothes shortened from the unni maid.
[ you see after the personal maid and the clothes and the FOOD and the presents and the holidays abroad and the school fees and the bodyguard type oppa and the cleaning ajumma and the cook and the personal nurse assitant oppa and unnies etc
the price comes up kinda high and i am one of the main reasons why....]

so please can anyone suggest some gaining weight plans for me?

PLEASEEEEEEEEE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

------EDIT-------

people are saying excercise and stuff and i excercise a lot!
2 hours of football, basketball running and stuff a day
1 hour of dance everyday
45 mins of swimming everyday...

and people are saying dont worry you will grow and stuff
but i need help for a few months plans..

it links to being 'rich' i suppose (although i'm not actually that rich)
its because i need to go to business partys like once every two weeksish?
and i have to look... presentable...

T^T

but thanks for the help up to now! ^0^

ethelelion : yayyyy someone like me! know you know how i feel... T^T

EDIT AGAIN--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

someone said about gowth spurt : i've already had around 2ish and i lost more weight at that time!

and yay!!!!!!!!! another person like me woot!

and i have:

3 big meals a day
3 snacks
and a big treat because ma friends and brothers always take me out to eat somewhere ! ^-^

i eat a LOT....

buut thanks ffor the help anyway

some people just don't gain weight, and if you're those kinds of people that can eat a feast and still look normal the day after, don't try so hard to get heavier. but if you're really set on gaining weight, i'm usually heavier after eating ice cream (mmm soo good smile.gif)

I would suggest drink soda soda soda but that's unhealthy for you
A lot of people I've met claim they lost 15 lbs, 20 lbs, 30 lbs...just by cutting out bread, pasta, and meat. So maybe you should eat more bread, pasta, and meat. You should still balance it out with vegetables and stuff. Persimmons will make you gain weight in a snap -.-

But in my opinion you shouldn't do anything. You're 13 so your body is still growing. I would just wait until you're fully developed before worrying. If you think you look too gawky in skirts then don't wear them

exercise REGULARLY to gain muscles. vigorous activities would work much better than walking the dog or shopping. cos muslces are much more heavier than fats. i've got 45 kg of muscles (:

edit: oh yeah and you're not filming a second 'super size me' so don't.

I agree that you shouldn't go to mcdonald's or you might end up with a heart attack. Bread. Meat. Yes those are all good. Also, chocolate is good (and healthy as long as it's not laden with extra sugar..) ^___^

have you ever TOLD your doctors that you can't really gain weight ?
sometimes, it's just metabolism.

but DO NOT eat anything BAD for your body just to gain weight.
because when you start to grow up, it'll just end up...
really bad : you'll end up with diseases&such ( if you're unlucky ).

I'm 14 &only 96 pounds / 42 kgs.
So, I guess I'm just like you, but I have extra baggage. ( in my thighs & at times my stomach )
So RWR. >//<

I'm not like you, I'm fat. rwr.
--I must add, you sound rich. XP

Well, like some said, you might have high metabolism. Just eat normally and you'll be fine.
But honestly, do not go for the McDonalds.

I suggest rice, exercising, like body buildingxD? Muscle weighs something so might as well gain muscles.
Its ironic how girls want to lose weight but when they are skinny, they want to gain weight...
But yea carbohydrates should help get you some healthy pounds. Well even if you can't gain weight, just be comfortable with yourself, thats way more important.

edit: But woah you must be rich lol. I just noticed that....I wouldn't get any of that service if it were me.

Omg, i think i have the same problem,
i can't really seem to gain weight too!
I'm like 5ft 3 and 90 pounds (41kg)
In fact, for the past few years, i seem to be losing weight rather than gaining,
i grew taller, yet my weight decreased!!!
and i try eating more for each meal and even snacks and supper,
but i just can't seem to gain weight.
A lot of ppl have told me that i look ultra thin,
and i don't really like it.
I would also really like to know how to gain more weight!
thanks smile.gif

mm i was underweight for as long as i can remember until last year.. exercising really helps.. you gain muscle and it whets your appetite.. more food will make you heavier.. good luck!

LOL are you exercising to gain weight??? What in the world... Yes muscle ways more than fat but thats an absurd way of gaining weight for a female. With your exercise plan i would think you would lose weight instead of gaining weight cause you do alot of cardio exercises. Ditch the cardio exercises and exercise less. Eat more. The only reason why you aren't gaining weight is because you are burning more calories than your eating.

Seriously if i gain 15 lbs i'd be so happy im going to cry.
yeah im that desperate.
I'm like you topic starter...and weight is the only thing keeping me from fulfilling my life....I tried to eat so much but i never gained a lb. Then I just got so tired of having to eat food and stopped after a short while...sigh.

I would suggest you to eat at least 3 meals per day, eat snack between meals, drink juice and milk
you need at least 500kcal/day in order to gain weight, eat low density food
exercise
and sleep

i have this fast metabolism [i guess]
so i'm kinda in the same situation as you b/c i'm stuck below 100 lbs for 5'3"
i'm always uncomfortable with wearing swimsuits during summer...

anyway, i was on the xc team earlier this year and i feel like the strenuous exercise really helped me. i gained muscle mass and i ate a lot more.
however...now it's cold/ winter and i've been losing weight again..

you're actually still really young. (how tall are you?) Have you finished your growth spurt yet?

Because I finished growing at 15... (ergh...), but between 13-15, I grew much taller, and put on a good ten pounds a year. I'm 20 now, and I haven't gained either weight or height since I stopped growing. Which makes me a bit sad because I'm still slightly underweight.

Anyway, you might just have to wait a few more years for your metabolism to slow down. Just continue to eat healthily and exercise and I'm sure you'll be fine.
