If this was posted on Oct 15 then it would've been exactly 10 years since the speed record was broken by this car. But all in all, quite a feat to hold the record for over 10 years.
Also it only burns 5 gallons per second. If it burned 50-500 gallons per second, I don't think the world has a large enough tank to sustain it going well over 15 seconds to achieve that speed. That will be a nearly 750 gallon tank or 7500 gallon
