no, because i am smart enough to know there are more important things to life than cars/toys
maybe you got OCD. imagine how your life would be if you had that problem focused on your career and/or education

also the g can already run mid 13s stock and the hks intakes adds an estimated 10 extra hp and the exhausts add like 8 so yeah it should shove off about 1.5 to 2 sec off my times

I kind of have a similar problem. I daydream driving my Miata with racing beat suspension goodies, fresh paint, a cutie in the side, top down on a beautiful spring/summer day.
Then I snap back into reality, look out my window, see the snow/rain/leafless trees and realize I'm stuck in a cubicle, files piled up to my eyeballs and sitting on a chair thats older than I am.
I do feel a little down when I have to drive my car top up in the winter. It takes away from the complete experience. It's like.... eating a gourmet 5 course meal everyday (Spring & Summer) compared to eating a cold cut sandwitch everyday (Winter).

Don't worry, it is a phase. Most of us older people know what you're going through.

do whatever it takes to stay out of debt and live a comfortable life and you can do whatever you want, man. even if your car is the best on your street, town, or nation, it's human nature to want MORE and the playing field and list of mods will just keep getting bigger. there's a 1 in 5 billion chance that your car will be the best. so just set a modest, attainable, but satisfying goal for your car. i used to dream about cars when i was a kid. if the 12-year-old-me saw the car i'm driving right now - it's no lamborghini - but it's enough to make the 12-year-old-me get excited. that's a good goal to aim for. once you (easily) reach that goal, move on to focus on more practical things. or a cheaper hobby.

you need oprah in your life.
Yeah, that woman can teach you a lot of things.
I guess its a mild case of car obsession. Just be logical and see if you can justify putting so much $ in your car. Compare and contrast it to your other priorities in your life. - just be reasonable.

Just keep this in mind
"Driving a car is a privelege, not a necessity"

You need Dr. Phil! That is why Oprah created him, so she can interview famous people hehe.

as with everything in life..it should be taken in moderation.
i think as long as you're reasonable about it, you should be okay. i know a few people(myself included) that have gotten in over their head at one point of their lives for something car-related.
i've been there and done that man. my only piece of advice is to think before you leap (like think about what you're buying before you actually buy it) otherwise you might get more than you bargained for.
happy modding!
