I need help people, I've installed Spyware doctor and there's a list of infections.
I was just wondering what kind of program should I install to block out hackers, crackers, and all those stuff. For some reason, my computer is slowing down or stop responding, and I just want to protect my computer from the infections.

If you use Internet explorer thats your problem. Most of the viruses come through IE because there is a lot of security holes in IE. Firefox, safari, opera all are a LOT safer.

Did you know that some freeware programs and emails are payloads for trojans and viruses? Some web pages have java script that are written to do bad things on a computer. Anyway, opening and executing a freeware program is way to plant a trojan or virus using the unsuspecting user as a way to get around firewalls and protections against bad script code. I have seen five examples of programs that have turned off Symantec antivirus and prevented a reload of the program. One program gave me a message that said "wrong version" and then it turned off Symantec firewall and antivirus, halted Zone alarm and even shutdown Microsoft firewall when I tried to turn it on, it also wiped out the good files for system rollback since it already planted itself into the only remaining bad system rollback file.
