(im in photography at school)

ok so i was rewinding my film in my camera but the lil film thing opened accidently as i was rewinding and part of my film got exposed to light, which is obviously realllllly bad.
but is that going to ruin my whole roll?!?!
or just the part that got exposed.
i hope it didnt get my good pictures tears.gif .

Well this first of all belongs in cameras section.

Basically whatever that is exposed and not already back into the film 'canister' would be exposed and will come out black (overexposure). Whatever made it back into the roll canister should be safe, because these things don't usually leak light.
