T_T I was deferred from Columbia Tuesday. Pfah...I have no idea how college reps are doing it this year, not a single kid at my school who applied ED/EA Ivy got in. All got rejected/deferred. And we had quite a lot tooo.

So who else was hoping to get in ED/EA and slacked off on their other apps? =/ I have 8 more apps to do over Christmas break now. WOOOOT! Who wants to join me T__________T

I REALLLYYY Hope the RD round is kinder though. And to pinkieboox3, i heard yale had 4800 EA apps, and only 700 got in, whereas 3000+ were defered, and 900 were rejected. So don't feel to bad! You guys have an advantage in the RD round!

Are you guys sending in supplemental stuff? Like more letters or an essay or what? The whole "about 10% get accepted who were deferred" was not comforting at all.

I definitely slacked off on all my January due date apps. Ooops... The last week of december is going to be essay writing week.

But it sucks because GT defers everyone. So I dont know if I'm in the bottom tier of "you should've been rejected" or the top tier...

I think b/c they dont reject anyone, that's why their deferree acceptance rate is kind of low.

I guess it's a good thing I got deferred, now I KNOW I have to work on my apps. hahah.

Oh my gosh I know, "Thus admission is especially compeitive as offers are only granted to those candidates who we are certain would be accepted regardless of the strength of the remaining pool" =/ Way to knock a person down and stomp on them.
