It actually matters when and what the environment was when that occured. If it occured when it was cold and dry, its not uncommon, because the lungs do not like cold and dry air. That can cause also cause some minor discomfort and pain, as the trachea can also close up a bit to try to restrict this air (if i remember correctly). You probably would also cough up too... thats the most common reaction to sudden cold dry air.
Who knows it can some mild form of asthma... which i would suspect as well (which can occur if exposed to certain conditions or certain chemicals). My girlfriend's sister recently had the same problem as you described and she was recently diagnosed with Asthma. Turns out, we did some tracing and matching, we found that everytime it has occured, it was because of a particular food being cooked....
What you describe is not a heart problem.
