I just had my wisdom teeth surgically removed and I'm supposed to be going back to get my stitches removed. So can you guys tell me if it hurts? Are they gonna numb me again? I have NO IDEA how it works. lol. Very much appreciated. Thanks ^^

it didnt hurt much when they took mine out... dentist was real careful about it. there was a little soreness, but no real sharp pain.

mine got soft after a while..
so i just pulled it out myself...lol
i think i actually swallowed a piece too cuz it was starting to come off..

it didn't hurt for me, it actually kind of tickled lol.

the first time i had my top teeth taken out i had the stitches taken out, but the second time they just disolved

it didn't hurt at all. i didn't even know they were cutting my gum (cus i was wearing an eye mask LOL). the only thing that hurt was when they numb you but that wasn't that bad.

Mine just came out on its own as it grew back...exactly what my dentist had told me. So I don't get why you need to get the stitches taken out at the dentist's office.

the stitches for my wisdom teeth dissolved by themselves but i had stitches for my graft gum surgery and when they took out the stitches they didn't freeze it because it wasn't needed at all... you can feel the thread coming out but it just feels like somethings brushing against your gums lightly

I think there are two types of stitches for wisdom teeth. one type dissolves on its own, the other you have to get it taken out by your dentist. it doesn't hurt at all. it takes about five minutes. haha. =)
if you've already gotten your wisdom teeth taken out, getting the stitches removed should be nothing.

painless.......he basically just cuts the stitch and takes it out.....not like your dentist is busting your gums.............had my wisdome teeth, all four, taken out last year.......2 at a time..........then waited a while and got the other 2 done...........didnt really hurt at all.......just a little sore afterwards, nothing a few pills couldnt take care of

haha i JUST got mine out...actually, mre like the stitches just came out on their own >_< it's nt suppsoed to..but oh well o_O it doesn't hurt anyways. tickles a bit.

yea! my stitches just popped off themselves and i didnt notice anything.

but recovering for the surgery was a pain :[

nope, they shouldn't hurt because i've gotten like one operatoin in my mouth which they like removed this piece of skin;; but like yu shudn't have to worry mine like got squishy so they just fall right out or its just this weird feeling; but its not painfull

Nope, it didn't hurt for me at all. He didn't even numb my mouth, he just pulled em right out! I could feel them being pulled out of my gums, but there wasn't pain of any sort. But everytime after that, he always gave me the stitches that dissolved.
