What carrier are you with? ._. Anyways looking over the specs of both, the Samsung Z240 is the better choice in all except megapixels, call records and the fact that the KE970 can be a document reader. ._. But then again if you're looking for looks then the KE970 is the way to go. Hoped that helped.

The LG Shine is out in America for AT&T. However it's not the KE970, it's the CU720, and they changed some specs of it. If he/she was to use the KE970, which is only tri-band, it'll probably work best with T-Mobile that works mostly with the 1900 band (which the KE970 has) instead of using it with AT&T which mostly uses the 850 band and the KE970 doesn't have that. Oh, and the KU970 is basically the same as the KE970 except it doesn't have an SD card slot and is therefore considerably cheaper than the KE970.

The LG Shine is a bit smaller than the new Razrs.
