I've been wanting to bring my own lunch since school lunch is *gags* and extremely unhealthy.
But i cant think of anything besides a sandwich+some snacks or a cup noodle. I would bring left overs from dinner (rice&stuff) but they need to be refrigerated (or they'll go bad).

Could somebody recommend something i could pack for lunch? I cant really think of a kind of sandwich thats quick and easy to make (besides peanut butter and jelly, and ham and cheese...which i both dislike laugh.gif)

And maybe something i can make on the night before that doesn't need to be refrigerated?

-fruit
-muffin
-bagel
-granola bars
-they have those little bags of muffins/brownies and stuff that you can bring
-i used to bring bags of cereal and snack on it
-carrot sticks, celery sticks
-smoothie, you can bring it with you and drink it throughout the day

if i can think of anything else i'll post it

you could freeze some grapes or buy frozen bags of fruit as a side snack. by the time you eat lunch the fruit will be defrosted.
for a vegetable you could pack veggies and a small container of ranch dressing. you can buy a cheap re-usable ice pack to keep it cold.
other good snacks that wont spoil are- graham crackers, pretzels, orange, apple, crackers. maybe you can find other dips as well to pack.
i used to always pack turkey/cheese, salami/cheese, roast beef/cheese and put an ice pack in my lunch bag. that way it was cold and the cheese didnt get all funky.

Yeah like the other people said fruit. My friend...She brought an apple to school every single day ever since grade 10. Never changed her routine...If that were me I would have gotten ssick of it...But yeah...The two above pretty much covered it all.

Umm as for sandwiches...Chicken and lettuce is always good...Buy a roast chicken and leave it in the fridge, cut a few pieces stick it in your sandwich, chop some lettuce and whack some mayonaise on if you like.

Chicken salad
fried rice and noodles dont go bad- just make sure something kinda covers the top so it wouldn't just become hard and just get a really dry flavor...
sushi and dumplings are good. keep the sauce in a separate container.

A fruit? I don't know, since it is impossible for me to make myself lunch nowadays.
I use to make eggs, and rice mixed with sesame oil and soysauce.
Don't bring foods that contains liquid in it, it'd be sick if it spills.

My mom makes my lunches. har har har. SANDWICHES MADE OF LOVE! Only when she has time though. Usually she buys packaged food like salads from Trader Joe's, sushi, package of bread rolls...stuff like that and then baggies of chips or almonds or something.
