in my opinion, fobs are cute ^^ and kinda quiet, which makes them mysterious <33 they also dress well and have hot accents but since my Korean is not great (and with other Asian languages, FORGET IT) I can't speak to them well

twinkies are all right but sometimes they can be jerks. also since they are more Americanized, they seem to hide their feelings more. unfortunately guys crying and stuff like that are considered "effeminate" in American culture

so what do you all think? please, do share

I'm not going to lie, I am a "twinkie". It's not because I want to, but it's the environment that I've been living in that has molded me into a very Americanized Asian. I believe it's disgusting and wrong when I see Asian guys act and dress very feminine.

Well this is a big thread of generalizations but i'll put in my 2 cents.

FOBS:
Tend to be more socially conservative, traditional, and passive aggressive. Can be colder and more closed to strangers or foreigners. Prefers to date Korean. May be very involved with Church.

TWINKIE:
Knows nothing about their culture, language, food, or cultural norms and probably doesn't care. Are more outgoing and vocal on their opinions. Can be more open and friendly to strangers or foreigners. There is no difference between a TWINKIE and Caucasian American other than the physical look. Prefers to date white.

KA: (1.5-2.0)
Is equally at home in Korean cultural norms or western. Has a good balance of both. May speak Korean well enough conversationally but typically doesn't read or write well. Has parents that migrated over and probably owns their own business. Will have circle of Korean friends and White friends, probably separate from each other. Dates Korean and White, but may end up marrying Korean due to family pressures.

I'm not sure what you mean by "very feminine". could you show some pictures as examples?
just look in the korean celeb photos/other celeb photos sections and I'm sure you could find something to show us

I'd prefer a twinkie. I might be generalizing, but the fobs in my area (there are lots) are a tad bit arrogant and too overconfident. I get the feeling that since they're so connected to their Korean culture, they feel like they're better than everyone else. I'm sure all fobs aren't like that though.

A korean is a korean, if they are hot, then it doesn't matter whether they are a fob or twinkie.

I used to prefer the fobs, but now I don't prefer asian guys at all. I feel like I'm more attracted to caucasian guys.
They seem to be more witty, outgoing, masculine IMO. If i had to though, I'd pick twinkie.

it's interesting how many of you guys think of twinkies as associated with mostly or only white people. most of the people I know who call themselves twinkies actually have mostly Asian friends. but they (the person and the friends, who are also twinkies) are pretty Americanized, even if they were born outside of the United States.

I suppose my definition of "twinkie" is equivalent to what you would call a "KA" (Korean American)

I'd prefer the Twinkie because true fobs...usually don't look as good as twinkies. >.<'' IMO.
I like the way fobby girls dress, but for guys.. it just doesn't work out the same.
Plus, I don't find them not being able to speak english properly mysterious, because sometimes they can be stubborn about what's right and grrr, those arguments make me sooo angry.

I'd chose the KA anyday though.
