my ipod always has no problem charging but this time i have a little battery left and when i plug it in my computer it won't charge, the screen doesn't have the batter charging thing like it always does it just has the screen of the music i last played, it's not frozen or anything. it works fine but it just won't try. i googled it and i have no idea what their talking about.

does anyone know what to do in my situation?

Does the computer recognise the iPod? You can try a different USB port. If it still won't charge, you might need to buy a new charger. Or, let your iPod battery run out completely and try again. Good luck.

make sure your connection is good.

have u tried holding the middle button and the menu button at the same time
for about 5 seconds. i think it should work because that once happened to my ipod.
then after doing that the apple logo should appear and i think u can start charging.
