I am thinking of getting this phone but I heard both good and bad reviews about it.

Now, I can't make up my mind whether to get it or not.

Anyone has this phone/ used this phone before? Is it good?

hello. im using U700 now. i think is alright and quite good. just that the keypad for me i find it not really good. another point is when u talk on the phone for too long u will feel that the phone is hot. overall its quite a good phone. the special feature is the wheel that u can scroll up and down. and there are some new features too.

i heard that the reception for the u600 is better than the u700 =\

I got this phone! The design won me over... calls were reasonably clear and the menu is very easy to use. Though the touch sensative keys can get annoying,
but it will take time to get use to it, but if you have big fingers - don't buy this phone.

The speakers are fairly loud, though they could be louder and this phone is really light! Camera is awesome! Very clear and there are two, front and back for video calling.

The only thing that I don't like about this phone is that you can't change the theme or the menu color. It's orange! And orange is not my best color... don't worry you can
change wallpaper, ringtones (it can support mp3 ringtones.) Also there is no hole for charms/straps! Anycall's version of this phone has a hole for charms!

Overall this phone is mainly for looks with it's sleek shiny coating (people compare it to the lg shine, but this one is smaller and thinner (really thin, like a razr!)
- and if your worried about the silver on the sides pealing off, buy a protective film cover so it can withstand scratches and whatnots.

The average price is pretty expensive I must say (around the $300) but I got it because that's just me. I mean if you're like a cell phone geek (I'm saying this in a good way
like someone who looks for good quality and other specs,) then this phone is not up to your standards. But if you're looking for a good looking phone and pretty decent quality,
then yea get this phone!

i just got this phone a couple of weeks ago & i'm loving it so far~
the only bad thing is that it doesnt hav a hole for a mobile charm strap thingo T-T

my bf just got this phone and he love it lolz.. i dont really like this phone.

i found that :


. the touch keys is very hard to use and annoying.

. the phone got no games - u have to dl them ..which cost around AU$ 7+ per game.

. no charm strap

. every nite he have to delete the call log.. coz sometimes it would auto calling pplz.

. the screen get dirty really quick.

i would give it a 6 out of 10..

^ You CAN change the message tone. I don't know about other people, but my phone has a hole for cell chains.
imo, the silver is better looking than the black especially in person. I thought the peeling problem was fixed already.. my phone doesn't do it. o_o
Touch screen is a bit annoying, but it'll need getting used to.

I had mine for while now and the screen is hella scratched and the silver paint around the screen is all scratched off as well.

U600 is better than thr u700 as i've read.

^ the paint on my phone hasnt chipped off cos i take care of my phone. lol cos my friend has one as well and his is all scratched and chipped XP

the paint chips off after a few months of normal usage, no roughness or anything, very very disappointing

the touch screen is sometimes quite a hassle, but there's been no accidental calls to anyone or anything

the software is quite good as well, no bugs that I have discovered

overall, its quite a sexy phone when you get it and quite user friendly, i loveeed it, until it got stolen

does anyone have problems with the phone call cutting out once in a while? not end the phone call completely, but like words would be cut out from time to time...

^ no. that could be due to bad reception. cos thats what happened to me. eg. walking in a tunnel or like in class where there's no reception.

it takes a bit of getting used to, especially the touch keys.
the silver coating does start to come off after a while, mine has started T_T
the features are nice though, and it looks so pretty (:
it's a good phone and the only thing that really bugs me is the silver coating.
i guess if you take good care of it, it'll be good.
