Application Fee Waiver Requests

I sent my College Waiver Requests a couple of days ago, but some of my deadlines are January 1st, 2007. Do they HAVE to receive it by 1/1, or is it okay if it's postmarked before 1/1? Should I just pay? o.O

Generally the deadline is the last acceptable postmark date, but watch out because January 1st is a holiday which means no post!

So it's the postmark that counts, and not the received date? Just making sure, since the colleges haven't emailed me back yet. I mailed a bunch of the fee waiver request forms on the 28th and 29th.
