My friend ask me this when he was high.

"What if you can float and you float in the air for like 12 hours. Will you end up in China? You know earth rotates, and when you floating your not actually on Earth.It makes perfect sense!"

At first I was thinking about for like 5 minutes and decided it was the dumbest question I've heard. I told him "No you will not end up in China you idiot!."

You would drift away..wouldnt you?? Because you go higher and higher..then your not on earth anymore. How could you end up in China?? I'm lost..I'm gonna be thinking about this all night.. wacko.gif

The things people ask when they're high...
Anyways..
If you're just floating in one spot you'd probably have to take into consideration how fast the earth rotates and then determine how far you are from China... and do some calculations...

Yeah if you were in a fixed position, you proabably would end up in China.
But if you weren't then since you do not apply to the laws of gravity, you would end up in space.

You'll have to take into consideration the presence of obstacles such as buildings, towers, streetlights, and the atmosphere itself.

If I could float, I wouldn't have a need for a chair.

I'm pretty sure if you float for 12 hours, you wouldn't end up far from where you started cause gravity will put you in your place.
