Yes, I'm cynical, I know. ^^;;
I don't have too much of an opinion on Jrockers touring with Americans. I mean, I'm sure the bands are thrilled they're getting recognition overseas, I guess.
I got to see Dir en Grey in America too, but not with Family Values. I wonder how were other American fans being jerks? I'm honestly not surprised (people are retarded) but now I'm curious.

I'm probably going to leave after MUCC and D'espairsRay perform since honestly, most of the other band don't appeal to me and I'm not hardcore METAL/SCREAMO fan.

mucc, D'espairsRay, and The Underneath (<--definitely worth watching) were alllll so great. Their performances owned.
The meet and greets were the best parts though. All three jrock bands signed my phone and my posters, and I got a couple of hugs.
And they took pictures with us. :]]

yea the underneath were pretty good. Too bad they got the small side stage
I'm so glad D'Ray and MUCC went on first so I didn't have to wait through all the other bands hahaha.
I had a meet and greet at my show too. I didn't dare get hugs, only handshakes lol. But at my show they ran out of posters so I had to dig for stuff for the bands to sign. It was pretty funny...I went up to MUCC and handed them my ticket stub and said "sorry I didn't prepare anything to sign, they ran out of posters" and Tatsuro made a sad face and was like "awww" (i'm surprised he understood haha). Then they all squished their signatures on my tiny little ticket stub lol. But I got D'Ray to sign a photoset so it's all is good. They were the reason why I was there. (MUCC is awesome too though hahaha)
Besides that I thought the fans were cool. There was some crowd surfing during MUCC which was crazy. It was actually the JRock fans that pissed me off more than the American fans. But at other shows i've experienced some crappy fans from BOTH sides.

I went to the Grand Prarie, TX show (which is pretty much Dallas, lol).
Despa was freakin amazing though. THEY PLAYED GARNET! I can't even begin to explain how much I freaked out when I heard the opening of that song. And I was really out of it because I hadn't eaten for two days. I was constantly talking back during the MCs (ie yelling back). "WE ARE FROM JAPAN!" "OMG NO WAY!" LOL! Yeah I know, I'm horrible. And seriously, at times it looked like Zero was doing a jig.
MUCC was crazy and I was really happy to see the whole freakin venue explode with excitement for them. I don't know what it is about MUCC, but they always seem to get a really good response. That mosh pit during FUZZ was insane. Tatsurou liked throwing around that f word. Lol.
The Underneath were really good. I was pretty worn out by their set and chilled, holding back on most of the headbanging.
Now for the signing... >.> My friend who flew in to go to the show with me also went to the Orlando show (to go with another friend, lol) and they were able to take pictures with everyone. Well, tokyopop was in charge of our signing and you went through all three bands at one time. Everyone was screaming at us there were going to be NO pictures. Killed my good mood. But all the bands were really sweet. Hizumi... lol. I was really distracted when I got to him. My friend had brought a picture from the Orlando show of our other friend with Hizumi and you can just see Karyu's head in the background. Well, the joke was we got Karyu to sign it (he's our friend's favorite member). He got really confused and kept pointing at Hizumi. We both were like "WE KNOW WHO IT IS! BUT THAT'S YOU IN THE BACK!" (Dude, maybe if you took off the sunglasses you could see? XD). Then he got it and all four of them just cracked up. Then I finally noticed Hizumi was still waiting for me to hand him my cd... oops? Then I had a total retard moment and couldn't open it. So he takes it from me, opens it, and points to the back of the booklet, "Sign here okay?" Awww, he's super cute. Tsukasa jumped out of his chair to shake my hand... and Zero is so freakin pretty. I was a tad taken aback. He's so pretty. D:
Then MUCC was fun... but I'll hold back on those details because some people don't approve on fans getting... er... themselves signed. LMAO! And I got a Tatsurou hug! XD
Later we spotted Taka walking around, well he saw us first and waved. Aww. Then we went down and I finally got a picture with someone! NO WAY!
link link link yo
He was super sweet... and a pervert. He told me I had nice boobs. XD And I got myself a Taka hug.
We hung around the venue for a long time (darn Harry and your misguided helpful info). Tatsurou was pretty tipsy and these two Avenged Sevenfold fans we were talking to with Tatsurou were hilarious. They were upset their band was already gone.
Dude 1: WE WANT TO PARTY WITH YOU!" (yes, they were loud even though we were all right next to each other, Tatsurou behind a fence, lol)
Tatsurou: "PARTY WITH ME?"
Dude 1: "YEAH PARTY!"
Dude 2: "BEER!" turns to me, "He does understand beer right?"
Me: "Oh yeah."
Tatsurou: "BEER! PARTY!"
There were a few more minutes of talking then he had to go (it was 3AM and the buses were getting ready to leave) and I finally went and crashed in my hotel room. Good times... good times.
