I've been active in this forum for a while, but I have not yet seen any on interviews..

Maybe we can make this the unofficial topic of interview help?

I have my first one for university of pennsylvania coming up on Sunday and I'm really scared ^^;; even though it's not supposed to have a drastic impact on my admissions.

What clothes should I wear? What kind of questions would they ask? And should I bring anything?

I hope this thread can be of help for other people too...Thank you ^^

you dont have to wear a suit but wear something that shows that you at least thought about your outfit. for my interview, i wore a skirt, button up shirt, and a cardigan. they'll ask questions like, why did you choose upenn? have you ever visited the campus and what do you like/dislike about it? what do you want to study at the school?.expect alot of questions about the school itself. they want to make sure you are actually interested in the school and have researched it well. they'll also ask alot of personal questions about whether your family has influenced you in your decision to apply to that specific school and such. oh, they like it when you ask them about their experience at the school. they wouldnt be interviewing you right now if they didnt like it. pretty much, dont stress out about the interview. as long as you dont piss them off and you seem like you genuinely want to attend upenn, everything will work out fine.

ps. if youre worried, my friend tripped right in front of her interviewer and got into harvard just fine.
