if you feel like fainting, bend over and put your heads between your knees.
not like squishing your head... but like the blood to circulate.
(while sitting. XD)

& drink fluids & get rest.

Eat kimchi...and ginseng... @.@
And all the other healthy food you can get your hands on.
Uhh...don't eat or drink cold stuff, only warm or hot stuff like soup and tea. @.@
Oh..like that ginseng chicken...what's it called... *ponders*

For food I would recommend healthy warm food like soup and tea like roquechinadoll said, but if you feel so nauseated that you can't eat, try sleeping although I know you don't want to since vacations are for fun, but health comes first.

-lots of water
-fish (they found a connection between immunity and omega 3)
-orange juice/grape juice
-homemade meals
-vitamin E pills
-and most importantly - fiber

you should get better in just 2 days

When I had the flu last year, it took me about a week to recover...I stayed in bed all day and slept a LOT. You should also drink plenty of fluids, and drink soup or something, though you probably won't feel like eating much. There's not much you can do other than this. G'luck!

HEAT. Your body heating up is a natural immune response. So if you help it along, that could help the fever go away faster. My sister had a teacher who hated missing school, so if he ever got sick he would layer on sweat pants and sweat shirts and sleep under a bunch of blankets. He was miserable while it lasted, but his fever did drop and he was well again really quickly.
If you're desparate enough, you could give it a try.

(but if it doesn't work, don't blame me.)

honestly, if you're THAT sick, you have 2 options.

1. get REAL rest for a couple days while taking lots of water and vitamin C and eating a lot of healthy and wholesome foods to kick your immune system into high gear. this will probably cost you a couple of days, but you'll be better enough to enjoy the remaining few days. (your condition wont be optimal, but you'll definitely be ok enough to enjoy your break).

2. visit a doctor and get prescription medications, or OTC's that come close to prescription strength. a few OTC's that worked well for me in the past was dayquil and theraflu severe cold (daytime). you'll have to fight through the hard times and always keep medicated, but at the very least you can somewhat enjoy the rest of your break. you can recover when you get back.

if it were me, i'd go for option 2. just get drugged up to the point where i dont feel anything and party hard. of course, if it were me, i'd be drinking every night and have probably killed off that cold by alcohol poisoning before it became a serious problem. tongue.gif good luck!!

You could try sauna! tongue.gif

As for fluids..try hot water w/ lemon and honey. Tastey and lots of vitamin C! Plus if you have a sore throat it'll make it disappear right away (kind short term though).
