I am suffering from sunburn now and my face is really red.
I tried
1. applying masks
2. moisturisers
3. putting yoghurt
but i can't get rid of the redness, does anyone know what to do from past experiences?
Thanks!

putting too much sunblock actually ruins your skin too cause of the chemicals.
dont put too much, cuz i used to put a lot and my skin started to burn instead

Aloe vera helps yes. Either that or invest in a good post-sun lotion. Last time we were sunburnt we bought La Roche-Posay post-sun lotion. (aftersun). Don't whatever you do use suncream. It won't work anymore...

Aye. I love sunburns. It makes my face look all glowy and stuff laugh.gif

Um usually it takes a week before your face gets back to normal. Or if you want to speed up the process, find products that'll make your face peel like crazy. but I don't think that's a very good idea.

Agreed. I was burned pretty badly in September (I actually still have the tanline sweatingbullets.gif) and I usually PEEL and turn red like crazy...but aloe vera definitely helped: I barely peeled and it didn't hurt too bad... the burn just felt hot for a while.

When I was a kid, we used to use Noxema to cool our skin off after a sunburn, but unless your skin is on the oily side, this might dry you out too much. I haven't gotten a real sunburn in a long time. I always wear long sleeves, jeans and hats when I got outside in the summer.

I have even bought clothes with SPF 50 already in them to protect my skin from the sun.
