this semester my schedule is going to be really tight.. i got days where i will have all four of my classes altogheter with NO BREAKS (five hrs long)
are there any types of food that will keep my energy up for like five hours? because i get hungry really fast and i dont want my stomach to start growlling in class.. that would be too embarrassing. i dont know what i did to myself but i really need these courses... and now it's sort of too late to change my schedule.
what types of food would be good for my stomach?

when you're in a crunch its normally sugar that gives you that boost
im not saying to resort to a diet of soda and candy
but its handy to carry a candy bar in your bag in times of emergency
other times i guess it would be protein bars, or any high calorie foods

you really want to eat healthy. advoid burgers or junk food. they leave you lethargic.
snack on raw fruits and veggies. the steady and continual intake of natural sugars will keep the glucose going in your body.
although caffeine can help, it only does so in small portions. restrict your caffeine intake because it also makes you need to use the bathroom.
for drinks, go for fresh fruit smoothies, fruit juices or even better, plain water. gatorade/powerade drinks are good, but essentially you want to be drinking those when you're exercising. its not good to take in those extra sugars/electrolytes when you're not rejuvenating used ones or in preparation to use some. plus, those drinks have added calories.
depending on your metabolism rate, you want to eat something 30-45 mins before your very rough schedule starts. that gives you time to digest and actually use the nutrients when you need them.
and heads up: nuts are good to snack on and fill you up, but be careful how much you eat. they're pretty heavy in the stomach, giving you a nauseous feeling. and a handful of nuts has about 200 calories? so don't get carried away with the nuts. plus, check how the nuts are prepared. some roasted nuts have added fat.
hopes this helps.

I usually eat veggies/fruits and a muffin and that keeps me going for quite a while~
I pack baby tomatoes, apples, ham sandwiches, or blueberry muffins ^^*

Haha I'm in a similar situation, except not that bad (4.5 hours from 11am to 3:30pm). I just eat a big breakfast and then eat like a lunch/dinner meal for the day. For breakfast, I usually eat like 3 slices of toast -.-
