My Experience: (bad so far)
I shared a dorm with 3 other guys and it's getting unbelievable. Who the hell get drunk on the day before the semester starts, and not only they are rude and obnoxious for example banging on my door while I tried to sleep. And when's that not enough these three retards goes to the dorm next door and start banging on theirs. And soon the RA came in and gather all four of us, and I was there...lost and confuse. I wasn't involve in these immature acts, but I'm always getting included in the blame and faults. Not long after the confrontation, they decided to smoke some pot which i'm totally against for so I requested a two room, but was rejected. How the world am I gonna survive...living with frat heads????

^ sorry man. you got it bad. just keep trying to get a new room. if you can't stand them at all, the school should put you somewhere else.

It's because you don't live with those female friends, so it seems like they're angels compared to your friends. Girls don't get drunk or high (as much) as guys, or when they do, they aren't so obnoxious and loud...but trust me. Living with girls = lots of drama. LOTS AND LOTS of drama.
So choose wisely.

ahhhh i'm in this predicament where i don't know if i should apply for a single dorm or a double
if i get a double, i'll be rooming with a male friend
he says he can't afford a single on his own
but ahhh i'm currently mad at him >.>
but then again
i'm also considering just living at home

I don't think you could live with girls if you are in on-campus housing. at least not at my university. I wonder if they would let us live in co-ed rooms upon request
I think the only way you could live with your female friends is if you rented an apartment or something.
one of my roommates sometimes brings her friends to drink or...make blunts to smoke outside
I don't like it but I haven't said anything to her because I got really mad about it only once and she hasn't brought her wild friends in since then.
