I've found most Korean rock to be boring, but I have found two good bands so far.

I can not believe no one has mentioned "1. Glittering Blackness, Fall," with long instrumental music, in the same vein as Godspeed you Black emperor and Explosions in the sky.

Also, "2. Vidulgi OoyoO," is really good.  Even better than some of the Japanese rock I have found and might even compare with some of the Shoegazing acts in England and America.  Good stuff.

I am looking for four more bands at the moment, with no luck.

Someone, somewhere, told me about the "3. Invisible Fish" and I would really like to find them, but have had no luck.  I hear they are really good.  I have also heard good things about "4. 500won Project," "5. Astrolab," (not to be confused with an Indonesian band with the same name) and "6. Toxicbiasfleurivy" but I have been unable to find them.  Anyone want to help?

Artist pages:

1. http://www.last.fm/m...ackness%2C+Fall

2. http://www.last.fm/music/Vidulgi+OoyoO

3. http://www.last.fm/m...+Invisible+Fish

4. http://www.last.fm/m.../500won+Project

5. http://www.last.fm/music/Astrolab

6. http://www.last.fm/m...xicbiasfleurivy

What other bands can people recommend?  I am not interested in metal, hiphop/rap, ska/punk or K-pop, at all.  I just want straight up indie rock/rock, postrock/instrumental or ambient or IDM, shoegaze or dream/space rock.  No metal, rap, ska or pop sounding music!

^ When you mean 'find,' do you mean free access to their songs?
It's really hard to find Korean indie songs online, even for just previewing and not to download.

Hyang Music has a lot of the obscure Korean indie albums not found on a lot of other sites, and they ship overseas.
I don't think you're looking for a site to buy albums, though.

Maybe the Breeze could be categorized as Post-Grunge.
