but for horrors, I prefer Asian horror movies, more thrilling and scary than Hollywood's.

I do like romance/chick flicks, but action movies suck you in, and it's fun to root for the characters especially when something climatic is happening. It seems more exciting too.
And comedies=laughing which is always fun.
I can't do horror movies, 80% of the time, I'm hiding behind a pillow. ><;;

But I avoid horror movies most of the times.
I won't watch those really really scary ones.
So far, I only watched Hide&Seek and One Missed Call [Japanese]

an eternal DBSK fangirl.

Sentimental drama films are really boring, imo. Like Jay Chou's "Secret"... hella boring...

But my favorite genre is horror. I don't know why, but I've always taken a particular interest in it. Not in a sick/morbid or crazy way though lol. It's just sort of my "expertise".
Some of my personal favorites:
Nosferatu (1922)
Halloween (1978)
Suspiria
Cemetery Man
Near Dark
The Thing (1982)
Black Sunday (1960)
The Evil Dead
The Haunting (1963)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Frankenstein & The Bride of Frankenstein
The Beyond
A Tale of Two Sisters
May
The Descent
The Exorcist
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Oh, I could go on forever.
and nothing to doubt.

i pick drama, because there's really no such genre as "drama". or "comedy" for that matter. particularly after the advent of sound and the downfall of the old studio system.
