My Laptop Wont Work Properly... dell 1501

well...since three days...i couldn't use my laptop....i dont know why it doesn't work...but when i turned it on...it processes until when it says Welcome on windows....and it wont show my icons, taskbar, and my mouse icon...but only my background of the desktop...anyone can help me?? i tried safe mode...and it works...but i cant do anything without sound and internet...sad.gif any suggestions?? thanks! biggrin.gif

In safe mode, do a system restore.

start programs accessories system tools system restore. Hope it works

Do a XP repair install. http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm most of the time your files stay fine, it just fixes XP but keeps your drivers and stuff. Very good option.. im sure theres some sort of "fix" but I don't know it and thats what I do.
