Search for it on ebay, they should go for under $20.
If you can find a nice service manual it might be easy to replace. It DOES get involved like you will get to the point where you're like OMG my laptop is in 16 pieces!! But if you work carefully its not so bad.
Basically, you need to remove the keyboard, probably the little panel above the keyboard, and the frame around the lcd.
Then you remove the LCD, carefully unplug the ribbon, and unplug it from the mainboard of the computer.
