I have a healthy diet. I don't eat big portions, I just don't know why i can't lose those pounds.
depressed. anyone wanna help me out?
-edit-
since everyone's asking whats my definition of eating healthy, here it is.
I ALWAYS EAT BREAKFAST, NO MATTER WHAT. sometimes omelet, or cereal, or sometimes for a bigger treat: Pho (Vietnamese Soup Noodles)
Little snacks in between
Sometimes I skip lunch, but my lunch are usually like ham sandwich, rice w/ vegetables. sometimes subway and other mall foods since i work in the mall.
Little snacks in between (if theres anys)
Dinner: sometimes I eat out, sometimes rice w/ soup, cheesebreads, huge turkey/tuna/chicken sandwiches, and other time its what I have for lunch

OR you're skinny enough that you're already at a plateau and need to change your plan.

it's really hard to say why you wouldn't be seeing results though because you claim to be eating a healthy diet and doing so many minutes of cardio and weights, but you don't specify what your routine includes, so I can't say whether it's really effective or not. bump up your weight training.
most girls get really spazy when it comes to weights but if you want to lose weight and see results you need to do weights....and more than 20 minutes. try 30-45. it seems like a long time but for each machine (or set of weights) try 3x12. just remember lower reps with high weights will build muscle while the opposite while the opposite tone. also remember that you'll be taking breaks in between your sets, so that 30-45 min will pass by really quickly.
mix up your cardio as well. do the treadmill one day, elliptical the other and the bike (you can get an awesome work out on the bike so long as you have a high resistance and keep the speed up)...try running outside. just remember to mix it up. also when you are on the machine, turn up the resistance (esp. on the bike and elliptical)
just remember to adjust your diet to your activness, of course you want to lose weight but you have to remember to supplement your diet with protein and and good carbs (important). give it time. work out 3-5 times a week, you'll see results. just don't get caught up in it though, or you'll just get frustrated

If you're healthy or average weight and trying to lose 10lbs and you're working out the way you are, which might result in over training because you should give your body 2-3 days rest----I would say expect about 2 months.

yes, but that's similar to a crash diet since you stop 'eating' and you usually gain it back once you stop eating properly. it does help somewhat, but it's only a quick-fix and eating healthy+exercise is still the best way to go (:

10lb=1 month? really? sounds a little too good to be true xD

exactly. rather than weighing yourself you should measure yourself to check your progress

For effective weight loss 1 to 2 hours is preferable along with weight training.
At twenty minutes, most likely you will be done burning off the extra carbs floating around but not tapping into the fat that you want to burn off. Cardiovascular exercises are usually more intense and thus have a higher rate of metabolizing ATP (energy) so bump up cardio, just don't do too much all of a sudden. Ease yourself into it and do it with vigor.
Don't forget weight training also. The more muscle that you gain, the more calories that your body will use up every day. So as your muscles grow, your basal metabolic rate will also grow. =D
If you are already on the heftier side, the scale and measuring tape won't tell you a thing because muscles will grow under the fat. Just keep at it and don't be discouraged! With time, exercise and healthy eating, it will come off.
as for eating healthy, what are you eating? healthy eating is more than just counting calories. . . I'm sure you know this already, but i would be interested to know exactly what you are eating to see if there are any hidden, destructive components- i'm sure there isn't, but just curious.
=]
I wish you good luck!

Anyways, cardio is really good. If you want to loose weight all over, run a lot. Its a lot quicker that way.
Lifting weights also helps you.. I've noticed that you've already started. Try to do a lot of sets, without using a lot of weight.
for arms, try like 20 pounds, lift like 25 times. do 4 sets.
legs do like 60 pounds. don't go over 100.
Guys get big muscles and legs because they lift A LOT OF WEIGHT and do very few sets.
so yeah.
GOOD LUCK!!
