Fafsa Help?

Hello ^^
I already filed the FAFSA and they gave me a EFC number. i'm confused on what this is...

EFC is estimated family contribution. The lower the better - that way you get more money. The higher the EFC, the more it means your parents can pay. But honestly, I doubt any family can really afford their EFC. --;;
