All of a sudden, Firefox stopped working for me, I couldn't get onto any sites besides Google which is my homepage. Not that anyone else blocked any sites because I only use this computer but I see the page loading, and you know how when you are connected to the site, there's an icon for that site next to the url on the address bar? yeah well I see the icons but nothing shows up on the browser's screen. I would wait forever and forever but it doesn't work. Internet Explorer works but Firefox doesn't. Is there anyone who has had this problem and can be an assistance? Thank you!

Extremely weird. You try clearing the cache, cookies, temporary files?

What if its a proxy setting? It should be off

Um... reinstall it? Uninstall/reinstall it maybe..

Dont forget to click Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks >
File > Export > Bookmarks.html

Always good to back that up before messing with your settings.

I've done all of that. My computer has been really weird the past few months and it seems like it has a mind of it's own. Another issue with this computer is that the "start" bar ALWAYS disappears when I'm on a site in IE or something. Doesn't matter in IE or Firefox, it's been disappearing a lot and popping back up like I restarted but I didn't.

thanks for the suggestion, awdark but I'm starting to believe that it's my computer that has this problem. sad.gif
