Gpa weighted?

Does your school weight your gpa? @__@ Do colleges ...un-weight them?

My school has an odd weighting system.

It goes something like this.

AP classes are given .33 (so adds another +) along with another class that's an honors combo of English and Humanities.

Other honors are not given weights.


Colleges usually have their own weighting system because my weighted GPA is something along the lines of like 4.0912.... etc. and I have taken all honors courses that have been offered to me at this point. Some may have taken a similar courseload and have a Weighted GPA of around 4.8 depending on the system of weighting.

It depends on what college you're going to.
I know the UC's have this wierd GPA System.
They only count Sophmore&Junior year, and for every AP class/UC approved honors course, you add one point, but the
max ammount of points you can get from AP/UC approved honor courses is eight.
