Kara's First Official Fan Meeting, A Joyful Meeting with Fans, Monday September 28, 2009 Korea
At 6:30PM on the 27th, Kara's 'Wannabe with Kara Thanks Fan' Fan Meeting opened in Seoul.
Group Kara, composed of Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Jung Nicole, Koo Hara and Kang Jiyoung, debuted with Break It and then followed with hits like If U Wanna, Rock You, Pretty Girl, Honey, Wanna, and Mister, gaining them a lot of popularity.
For the fan meeting that day, over 1,000 fans showed up for Kara to spend a joyful time with the girls. The intro started with Kara performing 'Mister' to greet the fans, and then had a speed quiz and took commemorative photos.
In addition, Nicole sang 'Happy And' with AST'1's Im Hanbyul, Han Seungyeon sang movie "Why Did You Come to My House" OST's 'Miracle' as surprise presents for the fans that came.
The video messages that fans made through UCC were revealed with brought Kara to tears, then Kara sang 'Pretty Girl' and threw out autographed balls to bring the fan meeting to an end.

And i found out that Hanbyul and Haiming both had a twitter account !!
Is that a freaking joke ??! I mean...really?! Can someone confirm that or...

for some reason im not surprised that Byul has a twitter account (altho i dont really get what the point of a twitter account is for)
and happy belated to Moonieee i wonder if korean eunices sent him some awesome presents
and why are they still SO quiet??? i wish we at least got some kinda hint as to when theyre making a comeback (or at least if theyre working on another album) that would make me (and im assuming most fans) less frustrated

It's so weird. Because Haiming using excellent english :-S Well i don't say that he doesn't have the right to speak proper english, but it sounds weird.
Moreover, i hardly believe that idols (even A'st1) are able to often communicate directly with their fans. I mean, even Tomo who has a blog never speak directly with the people on the BBS, he never mentions one particular name etc...
And i mean, come on : Hanbyul hardly updates his own Cyworld so Twitter :-s

i know right. i think its because DSP is so concerntrated on SS501 and KARA, that in turn, A'ST1 has been neglected. they dont exactly have the best management skills

OMG i can go on forever on DSP promotion methods...
I just hope that A'st1 will have the same career as their sunbaes SS501 and KARA.
So far, most of the DSP artists seemed to have known a kickass debut song, then a period of slow promotion during a few albums/singles...and then some unexpected big hit song ! And now it seems that A'st1 are in the slowdown period of their career :-S
For the moment, it seems that all the members are back to their hometown for Chuseok, of course.
But i think they'll soon go back on studios and work their ass off XD
