and wow its only been a couple of days and i see two whole updates from the boys about their comeback...
i kinda had a feeling they were going through some rough times. well i hope this time around DSP shapes up and properly promotes A'st1 and actually work to make sure A'st1 makes it this time around, it sounds like the boys are slowly getting tired of it...

btw someone had stated that DSP should have enough experience with SS and K@r@....really DSP was one of the TOP TWO idol entertainment companies back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. every single one of their idol groups were hits....they just seemed to have gone downhill after producing SSunbaes (i think DSP just relied too heavily on the fact that they were always one of the top companies and didnt change the way they produced/marketed/promoted their idol groups, and slowly lost their place to newer companies) they started picking up the pace recently, but for some reason hasnt been focusing on A'st1 who I think can become fairly well off IF promoted and produced properly, i mean the boys have talent and are willing to do this...

ACK i went off on a tangent again....oh my love/hate for DSP

i'm usually a silent lurker in this thread for like months i just want to thank everyone who keeps us updated especially Fanoo you're trully awesome translating tomo's entries they're the ones that keep me at these hard times after reading tomo's last entry and appa's note i don't know what to say i'm grateful that tomo decided to return korea and give it one more chance it must be really hard for all of them i hope this time it does well

and gosh dsp you're really making me crazy even i who took only one marketing class know that you're really bad at this just get better marketers and change your marketing plans although i always love dsp and its artists i really cant stand it anymore dsp you should do well this time find the right songs for ast1 actually i'm thinking hyung joon (magnae of ss501) can write a song for ast1 he's really good at writing songs or other members of ss501 like jungmin wrote a song for rainbow and it's pretty good why you cant do this with ast1 too

That's why they introduced their artists as the next *insert former DSP idol group*.
I mean, it's understandable to rely on former popular artists.
But it's kinda weird when obviously, they don't seem to do a thing...

Hopefully, DSP will finally ^{solve the visa problems} step up to the next level in promoting A'st1 ! Like, for real !!
They need to take risks. Good risks, of course ^^
And good risks for A'st1 : acapella, acoustic songs, ballads...
I know that all of us want more special performances like 'More than Words', 'World of our own', 'Kajima Kajima' etc. Please DSP~
And that'd be great if A'st1 have a proper comeback stage this time, right ? And a proper choregraphy ! XD

hello everyone! my name is samantha, also known as maybelately.
i just started using soompi, and upon seeing this thread, i realized how much i've been missing out on A'ST1 despite reading purplefanoo's translations. i'm glad there is a forum where all fans can discuss what's coming up for A'ST1, because i've been keeping my excitement bottled up for a while.
that picture of ingyu & jangmoon makes me warm and fuzzy inside! gahhh, i'll be even warmer and fuzzier when all six of them are together!
*i'm at school right now (YESSS SOOMPI WORKS AT SCHOOL), so i'll comment more later. for now...

was watching ss501 star watch during their dejavu comeback
i saw a glimpse of a'st1 there during their mcount comeback perf
they were all huddled together
looking awkward and confused with all the commotion of people coming to their sunbaes saying congrats for their comeback
it made me cry actually
seeing them all together like that
seeing the amazed look on tomo's face and the confused look on ingyu's
but watching that although it is so short makes me wanna see them being congratulated for their own comeback

i think this is the time that everyones gonna pick up the pace (by everyone i mean A'st1 AND DSP) the members sound like theyve had enough and are ready to give it all,and i have a feeling that DSP feels the same way and this time its ALL or NOTHING (really their last comeback was lacking because they tried to use the fact that Ming was on F4 and that they were featured on the soundtrack) and then what....they came out with an awesome mini-album but with lackluster performances (and i say it with love) and horrible management....

i give props to them all for deciding to stick together til the end (like Inkyu said in his little phrase next to the picture with Jangmoonie)
and its true, the more you deal and get through the difficult times, the more experienced and better one gets due to those scars....
all i have to say is pick it up boys....pick it UP!

i agree with Fanoo that the song production on dynamite album was well-done, but the single was promoted too much when the other songs were just as catchy (or even catchier). although the members performed two different versions of the dynamite dance (the one in the music video versus the...huh...crotch-thrusting one), the dances weren't enough to bring a fresh image to A'ST1. the boys are very talented, but DSP took a gamble by promoting dynamite and lost.
everyone seems to have the same opinion about DSP...it is so obvious what DSP did wrong, yet nothing could be done about its decision???
jiwonz1004 is also correct in stating that the live performances did not do justice to the dynamite mini album. the boys will undoubtedly work ten times harder to improve themselves.
fingers crossed that DSP will take the initiative and give the boys the opportunities they deserve.

they need eunice more than ever.
