So yeah theres a boy band one, so why not one based on girl groups. we all know that wonder girls came out of noway, had a charming debut song, "irony" (which is still my favorite song from them), and totally took over korea by storm with their hit "tell me", and it was totally unexpected, so which group will have their big year come 2008 ?

i honestly think its mostly between WG & SNSD .. but my heart is with SNSD, because i think that they will ultimately own 2008, due to their other projects, since they're like an entertainment group as well as a band, like sooyoung has her radio, and then tiffany has her show, yuri and sooyoung with their series, taeyeon and the girls are doing songs for HDG, yoona is a regular on sukira, and then game shows and all that, its been a good start to a new year too, kissing you got number one on the mnet countdown. but then again wg, has sohee who has been acting, and the girls have been on more and more shows, and their popularity is a big factor, as well as their third season of their mtv show. CSJH is still in japan promoting. I wish dsp put forth more effort into Kara, and of course there's SeeYa making headlines with their new song and mv, quite unpredictable. haha i hope they all have good years and hope to see more of other girl groups. But for now, im going to say SNSD, since they're new album is coming mid this year, and they're still going strong.

SNSD for sure.
Seeing as they are going to be promoting Kissing You and what looks like Baby Baby afterwards.
Not only that they will be coming out with a second album mid-late this year!

WG won't be back until mid-late this year coz they are touring with the JYP crew.
As for Kara, they are coming out with their first album but SNSD have such a large fanbase now.
And The Grace, I have no idea... maybe mid this year considering they are in Japan...with low profile activities...

I always have a soft spot for female artists because I feel like they always have it tough compared to the guys ;__;

So I wish them all luck this year, let's hope they'll all have a blast ! Somehow, I have a feeling SNSD might be very lucky this year due to their numerous projects. I know that WG is going to have a third MTV season in the states. So I don't know for long they're going to be on hiatus ..

It might turn out to be completely unpredictable and unexpected though. I'm also looking forward to Kara's comeback and CSJH

they're gonna blitz through every entertainment avenue possible.
they're songs are catchy, i just don't really like them. lol. if that can even make sense.

too bad brown eyed girls isn't super up there.. i really think their voices are talented..and csjh too. they're pretty hot dancers, etc.

are definitely popular
and so is SeeYa
( but i got to admit, not as much )
but in the end, album sales
will be veryy important.

SeeYa's 1st jib sold over 100K
and their 2nd jib sold over 80 K [info from this, was from, last NOVEMBER in 2007
i have no idea what the sales are as of right now.]

WG 1st jib recently sold over 40K

SNSD 1st jib sold over over 50K, nearing the 60K

i know SeeYa came out
a long time before WG and SNSD.
and another YES.
i know WG's 1st jib came out in Sept.
SNSD's 1st jib came out in Nov.
SEEYA's 2nd jib came out in May.
so there's a big difference.

basically i'm just stating
in the end, album sales
are important along
with the
group's popularity,
which ALL 3 GROUPS HAS.

we must wait and see
to see the real results
in the end of 2008

since its a new year.
